Go BUZZ urself!

So, here I am...in a distant city...taking advantage of a convention "cyber-cafe." There ain't no "cafe" going on here, but there's plenty of cyber. Anyway, three times in the last five minutes, another cafe patron's stupid cell phone has gone off. It wouldn't be so bad if people didn't choose inane rings...and turn them up ALL THE DAMN WAY! Little cha-chas...happy idiot melodies....marches. They're just awful, those ringers. One lady has had TWO calls. Didn't she learn the first time that her cellphone was not on vibrate? It's so easy, people. On my phone, all I have to do is hold down a certain button for a few seconds, and the little machine will confirm that vibration is its new mode...and that's all there is to it. I'm sure other phones are very similar.

I'm going to go away now...before the Mambo King next to me gets another call.
