Scattershooting...
while wondering how serious bloggers earn a living.
Thank you, Amazon. I just received my copy of Michelle Malkin's book Invasion. Subtitle: How America Still Welcomes Terrorists, Criminals, and other Foreign Menaces to Our Shores. I am so looking forward to settling down with this book tonight. I do realize that I should probably double-up on my blood pressure meds first.
I went to a lively Super Bowl party last night. Great food and company - and not a bad game, either. Several people brought snacks, including one person whose family owns Peking Gourmet Inn in Falls Church, VA. If you are anywhere near the beltway, it's worth a trip to the restaurant if for no other reason than to roll in a vat of their Spun Garlic Sauce. I haven't been to the restaurant yet, but I can tell you that was the best stuff I've tasted in eons. Everyone at the party says Peking Gourmet will spoil you for Chinese food anywhere else. I believe it!
It probably won't surprise you to learn that there are lowly lifeforms on this planet that will steal the snow shovel right off the front porch of a gimpy, grumpy old broad. I actually thought maybe they would return it after the snow had melted and they didn't need it anymore. I'm such an idiot sometimes.
